At the Chair of Economics, Energy and Sustainability and as
part of the Junior Professorship for Energy Market Design,
we study a broad range of energy markets, carriers and
infrastructures, their decarbonization, digitalization and
decentralization, as well as related issues of sector cou
- pling, regulation and market design.

YOUR TASKS
- Supporting teaching and research activities at the chair
- Preparing courses and seminars as well as their foll
- wow-up in the field of energy economics in English
language
- Supervising exams at the WiSo Faculty
- Support with the preparation of calls for Bachelor and

Master Theses proposals
- Contributing to research projects and scientific publi
- cations
- Continuous literature investigation for relevant cur
- rent topics in the field of energy markets, policy and
technology
- Data collection, processing, and analysis in the imple
- mentation of research ideas

YOUR PROFILE
- Ongoing Master‘s degree in Economics, Mathematics,
Engineering, Computer Science or similar field; a focus
on the energy sector is an advantage
- Interest in energy-related issues
- Very good written and spoken English skills are requi
- red, German skills are an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office and/or LaTeX skills are desirable
- Interest in or knowledge of one of the programming

languages Python, VBA or GAMS are an advantage
- Interest in working together on a long-term basis
