The Terrestrial Microbiology lab studies plant - microbe
interactions with a focus on biotrophic fungal pathogens, in
particular smut fungi. We invite self-motivated applicants in
the field of molecular plant-microbe interactions. The suc

- PhD in Biology or in a related discipline with a
strong,proven background in molecular plant-microbe
interactions»
- Evidence of expertise in microbial genetics requiredge

- Hands-on experience in computational data analy
- sis(comparative genomics, transcriptomics and/or
amplicon sequencing) is apprechiated»
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

The position is available from 1 December 2024 on a full
- time basis (39,83 hours per week). The position is to be
filled for a fixed term of up to 3 years. If the applicant
