Through our platform, we empower publishers like Financial Times, NBC Universal, Times of London or Yahoo as well as global brands to collect and analyze real-time opinions from millions of users worldwide, and help them generate user-declared 1st-Party Data from their users. By seamlessly integrating interactive polls across the open web, Opinary sparks meaningful conversations, drives user participation, and helps our partners to understand their audiences. Tasks

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Own sales processes to meet and exceed annual and quarterly company revenue targets
- Unlock your network: open new partnerships, close deals, and grow long-term relationships and revenue
- Upselling: nurture relationships within our existing partnerships, identify opportunities for upselling and expansion
- Collaboration with Marketing: work closely with Opinary’s marketing team to align on product positioning and promotion
- Product Intersection: translate market needs into actionable product requests, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry trends
- Team Leadership and Management: be an inspiring, motivating leader to your team in the EU and sales representatives in the US and APAC. Act a coach, mentor and accountability partner, own onboarding, training, and their career development
- Representation: Travel as needed to represent Opinary at client meetings and conferences worldwide.
- Customer focus: Ensure your team understands and anticipates trends and shifts in the market, business needs and KPIs to best align and customize our approach to their needs.

**Requirements**:
**About you**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the digital publisher landscape with a deep understanding of complex media organizations
- 3 years of successful SaaS sales experience with personal responsibility for 6-7 figure annual account volumes
- Proven track record in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and achieving sales targets
- Demonstrated leadership in consultative selling, objection-handling, focused on large organizations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written, persuasive speaking and contract negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the media industry
- A credible, trusted profile in the industry - evidenced for example through strong personal network, visiblity at conferences and gatherings or ability to create thought-provoking content
- Deep interest and understanding of publishers’ data strategies and how the publisher landscape is responding to the demise of the 3rd party cookie
- Strong analytical skills, leveraging data insights for decision-making and client success
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards affecting digital publishers
- Native English speaker, proficient German is a
- Preferably based in Berlin with willingness and ability to travel
