Head of Pricing and Case Underwriting

**What you do**:
You will be joining Allianz Warranty GmbH, an insurance intermediary and third party administrator (TPA) acting on the behalf of Allianz insurance companies around the world. As and an integral part of Allianz Partners. You will focus on delivering strategic products and accompanying systems to our B2B partners: automobile manufacturers, dealer networks and FinTech companies for Specialty Lines insurance products (extended warranty insurance, vehicle maintenance contracts, PPI in connection to vehicle financing (payment protection insurance), GAP (guaranteed asset protection).

As Head of Pricing and Case Underwriting you will lead a team of 5 colleagues responsible for designing and pricing insurance products for Allianz entities across the globe, motivated individuals who are comfortable working across business units and country borders and who are passionate in driving a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for:

- Planning requested new quotes and renewals with accuracy aligned with the Simplicity products and within the deadline, and supporting profitable growth
- Conducting (and documenting) in line with LoB governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles
- Supporting Global and Local Sales in preparing the final offer for the Business Partner to make sure that the prepared offer is the best possible and if necessary participating in meetings with selected clients
- Directing Strategy & Leadership: contribute to development and execution of global Underwriting strategy for Specialty Lines
- Leading in Sales Compliance: product governance, product review and quality assurance
- Developing of pricing tools and tariff master creation
- Supporting the portfolio management team in repricing schemes where adaptations are needed

**What you bring**:

- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation, and of underwriting in relevant area of Specialty Lines business
- Strong intercultural and communication skills and the ability to present to diverse audiences at senior level, and ability to design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings for contracts
- Experience in Property Underwriting profitable business in LoB, preferably in the area of automotive warranty insurance
- Demonstrated experience with a specialized understanding of regional / local LoB insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global elements
- Knowledge of pricing techniques, pricing tools, data interpretation, and insurance Know how for Product and Sales
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands, analytic and problem solving skills
- Solid IT skills: MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, ability to work fluently in English, with German or another language a plus
