**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **CASH MANAGEMENT SALES SPECIALIST, **you will be responsible for the origination, structuring and assistance in the execution of Cash Management mandates for Multinational clients of Santander within Germany/Switzerland/Austria & Nordics (DACH & Nordics) Europe and with subsidiaries of Multinational Clients of other regions active within same region.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Origination of new annual income of a minimum of € 1 MM yearly risk-free revenues in each geography.
- Representation of Santander on CFO/Treasury level with high quality pitches including latest market developments, trend analysis, regulatory impact analysis, etc.
- Draft RFP responses and head legal documentation negotiations in regard to Cash Management transactions.
- Actively contribute to the GTB team regarding market opportunities, joint origination efforts a cross products (Supply Chain Finance), etc.
- Raise the general awareness of regional and top management regarding the latest developments on the cash management capabilities for One Europe.
- Group interaction

EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in Cash Management, ideally in a first-class international bank extending Cash Management solutions to the region or possibly from third party providers for Cash Management System Solutions.
- Experience of commercial situations involving Cash Management, Liquidity Management, etc.

EDUCATION

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Fluent English and respective local language is essential.
- Spanish is helpful and/or one additional language within Europe is an added value.
- A sound understanding of Payment Systems (SEPA; EBA) and SWIFT Methodology related to payments.
- Use of Different Pooling Structures: Zero Balancing, Cinderella Sweep, Notional Pooling, etc.
- Experience of working with global operating Corporates and specific Payment requirements in different Payment areas within the EUR Zone.
- A sound grasps of local law in relation to payments, Account structures, Pooling structures.
- A strong understanding of commercial and financial documentation.
- Strong links and contacts with banks, legal practices, Cash Management System Providers, etc.
- Experience of interacting with clients and colleagues at senior management level in an international banking business environment.
