**The Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to understand their master data requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Define MDM Policies and Standards: Collaborate with business units to define master data management policies, procedures, and standards that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Establish Data Stewardship Roles: Partner with business stakeholders to establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities specific to master data domains, ensuring accountability and ownership.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to foster alignment on master data definitions, hierarchies, and taxonomies.
- Monitor Data Quality: Define data quality metrics and KPIs for master data in collaboration with business stakeholders and establish ongoing monitoring and improvement processes.
- Resolve Data Quality Issues: Analyze root causes of master data quality issues and work collaboratively with business units and IT teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate MDM Tool Implementation: Collaborate with our Data Team and vendors to evaluate, select, and implement MDM tools and technologies that meet the needs of the business.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Offer guidance and support to business users on master data management best practices, tool usage, and data governance principles through training sessions and documentation.
- Facilitate Change Management: Partner with change management teams to ensure the smooth adoption of new master data management processes, tools, and standards across the organization. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek feedback from business stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing master data management processes, driving efficiency, and delivering value to the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in master data management or related roles.
- Deep understanding of MDM principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with MDM tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL for data discovery in databases.
- Familiarity with Redshift, Metabase, Tableau data tools.
- Strong analytical skills to identify data quality issues.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
