The innovative industry products can be operated on-premises or in the cloud.
As Head of Central Architecture and Development, you will be responsible for the technological direction and development of our central software components as well as the strategic alignment of our product portfolio architecture, with special emphasis on security-by-design principles. In this key position, you will report directly to the CTO.
**Tasks inspiring you**:
- Leading and strategically developing the central architecture and development team (approx. 30 employees in Germany and Poland)
- Designing and implementing group-wide technology, security, and architecture strategy
- Establishing and advancing architecture governance processes
- Coordinating technological alignment between business units
- Standardizing and modernizing the technology stack across business units
- Driving cloud transformation, particularly in the GCP environment (Google Cloud Platform)
- Ensuring technical excellence, security, and innovation in all development projects
- Close collaboration with business units to optimize product development
**Qualifications that inspire us**:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in the development of complex and secure B2B software solutions
- Proven track record as a software architect or lead developer in larger organizations
- Comprehensive experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures and development methodologies
- Experience in leading large, distributed development teams
- Strong strategic and conceptual capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and confident presence
- Business fluent in German and English
