Reporting to the Country Manager, you will closely work with the global VP Engineering, VP Product, CPO, and CTO, and be a member of the German Management team. It is your mission to master and leverage our in-house low-code software Platform JetLang to build viable payroll technology for our German customer base. **Your challenge** **Lead **the German **cross-functional Product and Engineering Team** in collaboration and close alignment with the Global Engineering and Product leaders. Design a **viable, scalable, and secure software architecture** for the DE product using the JetLang platform and other low-code tools (e.g. Make). **Manage and develop the Product team,** headed up by our Product Director. **Manage and develop a team of 3+ Engineering Managers** who each head up squads of up to 5Product Builders (a hybrid function merging engineering, product, and design elements; for more context pls see here). Set the **Product and Engineering roadmap** reflecting business goals and vision. Establish **best practices** for coding, quality assurance, and incident management. **Your profile** You have **15 years experience in Software Development, Engineering, Information Architecture, and/or Product Management**, including at least 8 years as **team lead.** You have experience in designing software systems for large-scale businesses. You understand the benefits and challenges of low-code solutions, and can translate them into principles and actions. **software is viable, scalable and secure**. Experience in the **SaaS B2B** space, in particular for **HR, tax solutions, or other regulated sectors**, is a plus.
