**_The role_**
We are seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to join our team and oversee one of our Crop Science production facilities in Dormagen. As our Plant
Manager, you will have a critical role in providing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our plant, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory
and environmental policies.

**_What you will be doing_**

// Effectively leading and managing a team of 2nd plant managers and shift supervisors that manage 140 employees, by providing guidance and a clear vision, building relationships, empowering others, and supporting career development
// Supervising and orchestrating the production process to ensure plant and process safety, employee health and safety, quality control, and plant emergency operations

// Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory policies, including environmental aspects of the plant

// Managing and improving production processes, including cost-saving initiatives, performance improvement, investments, and integrations

// Managing projects and ensuring technical functions of production facilities in cooperation with engineering/technology

// Optimizing production process and first production of new innovative active ingredients for launch campaigns

// Being active member of an global international management team

**_What you bring to the table_**

// University degree in Technical
- or Natural Sciences, preferably chemisty
// Several years of experience in plant management, e.g., as 2nd plant manager, Lab manager, or plant engineer
// Profound knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing (chemical process technology, compliance, quality, EHS, economics)
// Strong leadership, good intercultural and motivational skills to manage cross-functional networks
// Project management experience and strong communication skills
// Excellent oral and written skills in English and German
