**Head of Site Operational Excellence (f/m/d)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support Site Manager in Strategic Decision-making:

- Set up strategic Project Portfolio Management Process
- Strengthen Change Management processes on site
- Drive the strategic AIM Project Portfolio Management:

- Lead the definition, implementation and review of the site's portfolio management framework and develop portfolio management methods, processes, and guidelines
- Ensure the alignment of the portfolio with business strategy & objectives
- Set parameters for the prioritization of resources and the changes to be implemented under consideration of resource capacity
- Create transparency over the portfolio and prepare portfolio decisions
- Plan, schedule, monitor, forecast and report on activities related to the portfolio to ensure that each part of the portfolio contributes to the overall achievement
- Develop and align portfolio roadmap(s)
- Manage the portfolio and ensure a timely and centralized initiation of projects
- Strengthen the operational excellence culture and servant leadership onsite:

- Build action plans for further development of our production system
- Develop, plan and conduct trainings onsite
- Maintain a good relationship with relevant stakeholders in the plants and service departments
- Contribute to onsite communication with regular actions e.g. weekly update, Infomesse
- Drive Strategy-Deployment by:

- Plannig and executing relevant Workshops
- Developing production systems e.g. Teamdialogues, Visual Management
- Connecting production systems to other initiatives in terms of operational alignment
- Foster-change management
- Ensure the digital transformation:

- Coach the Digital Transformation Site Lead
- Identify key projects for digital transformation
- Shape the digital vision of AIM on the Dormagen location
- Align with global activities
- Ensure reaching the saving targets:

- Regular monitoring & reporting of relevant KPIs
- Lead steering committee onsite
- Organize rewarding system
- Lead a small but strong Team to drive Transformation

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree with preferred PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Long-term experience in Operational manufacturing
- Strong chemical and business/economical competencies
- Very strong and proven leadership and change management skills as well as the ability to steer and motivate a very diverse and large team without a direct reporting line
- Good understanding of supporting processes associated with operations & maintenance of a plant
- High motivation, innovative and creative out of the box thinking
- Strong strategic mindset and excellent intercultural and communication skills besides persuasiveness
- Ability to lead cross functional international teams without hierarchy
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
