As part of the Fraunhofer IIS 3GPP RAN WG1/2 delegation, you will:
- develop radio standardization specifications in the area of 5G NTN protocol, and eventually 6G
- contribute to and participate in 3GPP RAN WG1/2 meetings, representing Fraunhofer IIS
- create inventions and intellectual property (IPR’s) and support strengthening of Fraunhofer IPR portfolio
- contribute to and participate in customer dialogues on the latest trends in wireless technology and standardization.
- develop innovative radio system solutions for 5G-NTN technology with world class team
**Was Sie mitbringen**
- MSc degree or PhD in the area of communication technologies, signal processing or signal transmission
- An understanding of 5G radio access system and first experience in 5G radio protocol layer research or development
- Experience in link level simulations (Matlab/Python)
- Proficiency in technical writing
- Fluent English, strong communication and negotiation skills
**It would be nice if you also have**:
- Experience in 3GPP standardization and of system-level simulations
- Willingness to travel
- Proven ability to work in a multi-national (and distributed) team
