Insurance Specialist

Insurance solutions are a crucial instrument for addressing and mitigating global business risks of Infineon. Together with the Senior Director Insurance you will work with insurance markets, insurance brokers and internally with business divisions, central functions, and sites. Your tasks will include arranging, implementing, monitoring, and developing global cover for all corporate lines of insurance for the Infineon Group and its subsidiaries worldwide. The main objective is to secure an appropriate and uniform standard of insurance coverage at competitive premiums for mainly Property & Business Interruption, Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, Marine & Transport, and Cyber insurance lines. As Insurance Specialist you will handle all corporate insurance-related tasks, including taking part in risk assessment, loss prevention, contract analysis and claims handling.

In your new role you will:

- Support the **implementation, controlling, development and yearly renewal of corporate insurance lines **(main ones include property/business interruption, liability, directors & officers liability, marine/transport, cyber) for the Infineon Group, including worldwide subsidiaries
- Act as an **interface to the global insurance markets **(i.e. insurers, brokers, service providers) as well as internally to Business Divisions, Central Functions and worldwide Infineon sites regarding global corporate insurance lines
- Provide all other necessary **insurance related risk management services **to the Infineon companies (i.e. loss prevention, contract analysis, claims handling, etc.) in cooperation with the Business Divisions, Legal Department, Business Continuity, Sites, external Brokers, and insurers
- Be the **contact person for legal and procurement department worldwide **to evaluate issues in customer and supplier contracts with a potential impact on insurance cover
- In M&A situations**:s **upport the insurance due diligence of targets, the integration of newly acquired companies **in the Infineon global insurance programs, respectively carve-out in case of spin-offs or divestments
- Organize **risk audits **with insurers and their risk consultants, and **conduct **workshops and trainings internally**:

- Assume administrative tasks like document storage, premium payment, insurance cost controlling and others

You act initiatively and overcome challenging situations with creative solutions by actively looking for the ideal solution and engage in professional debates with the relevant people, instead of accepting rash compromises. As Insurance Specialist, you stay aware of costs in your decisions and actions and optimize cost-benefit relations. Additionally, you are ready to accept risks and take the necessary measures where required.

Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Have a university **degree in business administration, economics or insurance sciences **or comparable
- Gained **minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role **, ideally within an international setting
- Well-founded expertise in **industrial insurance**:

- Experience with the **setup of multinational insurance programs**:

- **Excellent German and English proficiency, presentation and communication skills, **additional foreign language skills are an advantage
- **Team orientation **and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Willingness and ability to undertake **business travels**
