We started Genova to be at the forefront of the revolution. Genova, meaning "New Wave" is a venture studio aimed at building delightful products around Generative AI. **Our story** After founding Smallpdf (a top 100 website globally) and Taxfix (a FinTech unicorn), Mathis founded Genova, together with a handful of other product, growth and AI experts. Our aim is to combine our expertise and experience to build products that improve human experiences for millions of people. **How does **Genova.ai** operate?** Genova is a fundamentally new approach to how products are built. Genova is a studio with a handful of venture teams - each one building simple tools and software to enable millions of people to use the magic of Generative AI. The venture teams are agile, release every day and build small, scalable products that generate loads of value for a lot of people. If their products become profitable, the team will receive a percentage of the profit as a bonus. The teams are supported by the studio layer, which includes support functions, design and go-to-market experts as well as some of the top AI researchers in Europe. Genova aims to always stay agile and fast - we aim to hire smart and experienced people, capping our headcount at 40 people in total. We will never fall for the trap of building a big corporation with politics, endless meetings and slow operations. - We have amazing fun as a team working with only top talent. - We leave our ego at the door and focus on the joy of building things together. **Job Overview** Genova.ai is seeking a **Venture Lead** to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the commercial and product lead of one of our cross-functional venture teams. As a Venture Lead you work closely with your own team of developers and with our design and marketing experts to launch AI-based products and and market them successfully. Being a Venture Lead at Genova is like being a startup founder on steroids - you launch several products in a few years, succeed and fail fast and you work and learn with the top 1% of talent. **What you will do** - You will lead one of the venture teams of the studio and own deliverables and the P&L - You will launch several new products per year with your team and our studio-level experts - you own this process from idea to research to launch, monetisation and possibly retirement - You will be the intersection of marketing & product meaning that you will spend 30-40% of your time on go-to-market strategies and growth - You will be making important decisions in product and marketing based on solid data analysis - You will work closely with the founder of Genova, as well as the industry-veterans who are in the advisory network of Genova and report directly to our COO **Your background** - You have Bachelor Degree (ideally in something like Economics, Business or Finance) from a top university - You have 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced tech and/or startup environment - You have a continuous track record of taking the initiative in your life to organise, build, set up etc. something on your own (event, brand, business, etc.) - You have several years of experience as a Product Manager and worked on one or more tech product - You have commercial / growth marketing experience (you have promoted your own or somebody else's business or yourself) - You have a strong vision how you want to build things and you are humble to get feedback and guidance and learn from the best - You like to be analytical and like spending time with spreadsheets and analysis - You have growth mindset - you want to be better today than yesterday and tomorrow better than today Nice to have - If you have founded a company on your own it's a plus If you are excited about how we work at Genova, interested in the space of generative AI and you think the description above is a good fit for you, please apply.
