Quality Control Intern

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
We are looking for a **Quality Control Intern** with hands-on experience in a laboratory to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing internal analyses on our raw materials and products, and follow up with external partners to ensure results are provided accurately and quickly. This is a great opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced startup environment.

The contract is limited to 6 months.

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**:

- ** Working as an analytical chemist in our laboratory**: Performing different types of analyses for both raw material and product samples.
- ** External laboratories management**: Making sure external samples are shipped according to standards and analysed on time to ensure fast and accurate decision-making processes.
- ** Organisation of the laboratory and implementation of 5S standards**: Making sure the laboratory is following 5S standards and equipment is well-maintained, clean and safe.
- ** Result tracking and communication**: Track analysis results in a structured way and inform the team proactively about any new insights.
- ** Experiment support**: Support engineers, technicians and plant operators during experiments and industrial runs, with hands-on attitude and a positive approach.

**Your profile**:

- Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, (Hydro-)Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience with ICP-OES, ISE, TC-TOC.
- Hands-on laboratory experience
- Familiarity with standards and operating procedures for quality control.
- Understanding of concepts related to chemical, industrial or process engineering.
- Willingness to learn, to step out of your comfort zone, and to work independently but also collaboratively across teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for sustainability and a keen interest in clean-tech and recycling industries.
- ** Preferred**: Experience working with black mass, graphite, and lithium carbonate matrices.
