Sanction Compliance Specialist

**Tasks**:

- Analyse sanctions laws and regulations in light of the particular business exposures
- Perform economic sanctions assessments for business referrals and offer support and guidance to the various business stakeholders
- Review submissions that pertain to sanctions, discuss pertinent issues, and support communication with clients and brokers.
- Create new procedures or improve existing ones, offer reports and overviews, document initiatives, and give the Head Sanction Unit a thorough overview of projects and actions to help prioritising and steering.
- Created, improved, and maintained a sanction database, ensuring uniform documentation across business systems (process, exceptions, referrals etc.).
- Review and update training materials, plan and conduct in-person training sessions, and create newsletters, awareness campaigns, and robotic solutions, among other things.

**Requirements**:

- At least five years of experience working professionally in the (re)insurance or alternatively in the field of economic sanctions
- You are open and forward-looking, interested in learning new things and sharing knowledge, and you can express ideas and messages confidently and clearly.
- You have strong analytical skills and IT knowledge.
- You speak English well.
- You have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
