Rosewood Munich is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT student for an internship opportunity in our Information Technology department. The IT Intern will assist in maintaining and improving the hotel's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of hardware, software, and networking systems. This hands-on role offers a chance to gain practical experience in a dynamic hospitality environment while contributing to the efficiency and innovation of our IT systems.
- Provide and assist in first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues for staff and guests.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems in a timely manner.
- Respond to guest technology queries (e.g. Wi-Fi connectivity, conference room setup)
- Assist in routine maintenance and updates of IT systems, including workstations, and telecommunication systems.
- Monitor system performance and report issues to the IT Manager.
- Support in managing user accounts and permissions across various platforms
- Perform diagnostics on network connectivity and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in IT support and systems management within the hospitality industry
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with associates and guests.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- English and German language

Rosewood Munich will also feature a full service spa, which will house five treatments rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness area. Additionally, the hotel will include extensive meetings and events spaces to accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 400 guests.
