Ashfield MedComms is growing We are expanding our team of medical writers based in Germany, where we create compelling, high-quality scientific and medical education content to engage communities across the healthcare spectrum.

We're looking for high-calibre, enthusiastic, motivated aspiring medical and scientific writers to join our team.

**What you'll be doing**
- Receive comprehensive training to equip you for a career as a medical writer.
- Provide high‐quality scientific analysis, writing, creative presentations and strategic consulting services to meet client objectives and timelines.
- Research and develop scientific and medical materials, ensuring that outputs adhere to the written brief, are appropriately referenced and accurate in content and editorial style.
- Liaise with colleagues, clients and medical experts to develop high-quality scientific content.
- Support the implementation of multi‐channel projects in a variety of medical indications.
- Serve as a competent, reliable medical communications partner and advisor to clients from the pharmaceutical industry.

**Which previous experience is needed?**

**Your background and skills**
- University‐level education in medicine, pharmacy, biology or other life sciences; research experience at the PhD level would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in medical communications, editing, publishing or the pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous.
- An ability to work in a structured, independent manner within dynamic teams and a constructive, service‐oriented approach to challenging situations.
- Good time-management skills, resourcefulness, adaptability, flexibility and an ability to manage simultaneous priorities and adapt to changing timelines.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English; native-speaker-level written and verbal German skills would be an advantage.
- Experience with standard software, including Word, PowerPoint and EndNote would be advantageous.
- A willingness to travel as needed.
