Financial Planning

We are looking for a talented **Financial Planning & Analysis Intern **to join our team in Munich.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Liaise with finance and sales teams to understand business drivers and assist with queries. Wrangle data from-to multiple sources: SAP, Salesforce, databases, and spreadsheets
- Work with Regional and Central FP&A teams to deliver performance insights to Senior Management team, enabling optimal decision making
- Support and improve the regular finance closing and reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly) to produce analytical dashboards, reporting packages and monthly business reviews
- Perform deep dive analyses to understand revenue trends, identify potential business opportunities/risks, and cost savings initiatives
- Support Central and Regional FP&A teams as required and contribute to specific ad-hoc projects
- Drive best practices and identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to optimize processes or analytics tools.

- You will be an integral part of the Steelcase team from day one, working with a highly motivated, international and diverse team in the areas of finance and data technology. You will be exposed to challenging areas of work and take on exciting tasks and, if possible, sub-projects in an interdisciplinary working environment. Develop your analytical and business storytelling skills (turning data into actionable information).

**Who You Are**:
**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Passion for technology and being customer-centric.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Curious and willing to ask questions.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to Identify the most efficient ways to complete assigned tasks
- Desire to always be learning, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
- Knowledge & experience of Microsoft Excel incl. Pivot Tables, Lookups and Slicers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

**Preferred Skills and Competencies**
- German or French knowledge will be a plus).
- Previous experience in SAP, Salesforce and tableau is an advantage but not essential.
