Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Head of Finance Competence Center (M/F/d) in Hanau, Germany.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and grow the Finance Competence Center Europe, driving process optimization and expanding the regional finance scope
- Manage, coach, and empower a diverse international finance team, fostering collaboration, professional development, and a culture of accountability
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting for all European entities, including monthly and annual closings
- Serve as a trusted business partner across key finance functions — accounting, controlling, accounts receivable, and accounts payable — ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and local business leaders
- Collaborate with the global Finance team to align structures, implement best practices, and support strategic initiatives
- Lead the European rollout of the new group finance system, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration across regional and local teams

**Skills, knowledge, and expertise**:

- Years of experience and solid knowledge of accounting standards; experience in controlling is a strong advantage
- A strong track record in finance transformation and process optimization
- Proven experience in leading and motivating finance teams within an international environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
- A hands-on approach, strategic mindset, and integrity
- A positive attitude and the ability to foster a collaborative and enjoyable team environment
