Mina is an Asian inspired All-Day Fast Casual Restaurant launched in Berlin, Germany. We believe in cool vibes and “Good Earth” principles.

**Our menu is primarily focused on three areas**: Baos, a Taiwanese steam bun, that we fill with the diverse flavors of Asia; An assortment of Greens with an Asian twist, and lastly; Soft Serve, our small-batch ice cream blends that are free of dairy, soy, and any additives/preservatives.

Tasks

As Prep Cook, you get the opportunity to showcase your skills in different areas of the kitchen. We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to work with us as part of our kitchen. You will be responsible for prepping all of the menu items needed for service.

**Your job responsibilities will be**:

- Preparing all menu items and others as requested by the Kitchen Manager
- Maintaining adequate levels of prepped food as required during service
- Helping in unloading food deliveries and placing them in their respective locations
- Cleaning the kitchen stations at all times
- Washing of all service items
- Stocking the food items properly in dry and cold storage
- Checking the inventory levels and reporting to the Kitchen Manager
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Collecting dirt and debris at regular intervals
- Sanitizing the kitchen utensils and plates
- Maintaining proper sanitation of the kitchen and all its stations
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

**Requirements**:
**Can you say “Yes” to these**:

- 6-12 months experience in any commercial kitchen position
- Open flexible mindset
- Knife skills and basic kitchen knowledge
- Self-accountability
- Eager to learn and grow
- Are authorized to work in Germany
- Live in Berlin, as in, you have an “Anmeldung” here
- Have a “Rote Karte”
- Speak English, basic Deutsch
- Plan to stay in Berlin for the next two (2) years
- This is a minimum 20 hour/week work shift
