Job description

Our client is a leading Investor in Logistics and Industrial Real Estate across Europe. With a highly skilled Real Estate team and a great track record. They are now seeking a Strategic Asset Manager who can demonstrate their ability and passion for Asset management, and lead their projects in Berlin and also gain an overview of all their developments in Germany.

**Tasks**:

- Completing strategic Asset management initiatives with a view to significantly improve property values - this will include refurbishments, Tenant management, lease negotiations, and more
- Having knowledge of the impact ESG is having on the property sector and be able to demonstrate how they can factor this into their asset management approach
- Knowledge of Financial Modelling, Capex Calculation and Business Plans
- Managing third parties including Property Managers, Legal Professionals, Valuers, Lease Advisories
- Liaising with the investment managers to provide input on acquisition strategies
- Presenting to the investment committee on the progress of strategies
- Assisting in acquisition processes from an asset management perspective and carrying out commercial due diligence

**Qualifications**:

- Strong Asset Management experience from a client side organisation, including leasing/letting, renewals/rent reviews and Sale
- Good understanding of landlord and tenant law and be comfortable reading leases and legal documents to quickly pick out key strategic risks and opportunities.
- Financial / Analytically - comfortable using complex valuation models (Excel) and be able to interpret cash-flows and able to clearly articulate inputs and outputs to non-financial stakeholders
- Team player and a proactive attitude
- Transactions & Financing Experience:

- Background in Logistics / Light Industrial with some flexibility on reputable expertise
- Good to very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of German and English
