As a **Sourcing Market Intelligence Specialist (M/F/d)**you will report to the **Sourcing Excellence Senior Manager**based in **Blieskastel** or **Obernai**for a **permanent contract**.

As a **Sourcing Market Intelligence Specialist (M/F/d)**you are responsible for providing insights into macro-level risks and trends impacting the sourcing organization. You will analyse external factors such as industry trends, global supply chain disruptions, economic shifts, and market forecasts to identify opportunities and risks that could impact sourcing strategies.

**What you will do?**
- ** Lead the analysis of global and regional market trends**, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors, to proactively identify risks and opportunities impacting sourcing and supply chain resilience
- ** Deliver actionable insights and regular reports to senior leadership**, supporting data-driven decisions in supplier selection, strategy development, and risk mitigation
- ** Conduct competitive benchmarking and assess the supplier landscape** to identify emerging markets, innovative capabilities, and potential new suppliers
- Partner with Category Management, Risk & Compliance, Finance, and Sourcing teams to **integrate market intelligence into broader sourcing strategies and ensure cross-functional alignment**:
**What about you?**
- ** Degree & Experience**: A relevant degree and you have got several years’ experience in sourcing for a global acting company
- **Expertise in Market Intelligence**: Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex market, industry, and geopolitical data
- **Strategic Thinking**: Strong track record in driving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, ensuring accountability, and delivering business impact through sound financial acumen and strategic thinking
- ** Empower people**: Share your expertise, create and enforce global networks with courage, integrity, and customer focus
- **Communication skills**: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights. Fluency in English, French and German language skills are a plus
