Training Specialist

**How Your Role Will Make an Impact**:

- Train U.S. and multinational military personnel on specialized areas.
- Train exercise support personnel how to emulate specialized areas.
- Perform Observer/Trainer Controller duties
- Develop and execute assessment plan to support exercise training objectives
- Researches, analyzes, implements and develops specialized training materials to enhance military exercises.
- As required, be prepared to role play U.S. Army, joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and/or multinational individuals.
- Design, develop, rehearse, and execute Protection warfighter function related academics
- Perform and provide military exercise analytical support.
- Design Exercise Support Plans and Exercise Support Manning Documents.
- Analyze, develop and synchronize story lines and Joint Master Scenario Event List.
- Provide Warfighter functional expertise to simulation data base builds.
- Analyze military mission requirements in the context of developing computerized simulation exercises and training events.
- Develop assessments input for exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and after action review of company through COCOM‐level exercises
- Support the testing of simulation workstations and system configuration as part of the exercise preparation phase.
- Document and update processes.
- Perform tasks under deadlines.
- Work with senior Government and Industry leaders.
- Prepared to work at a computer terminal for extended periods.
- Prepared to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 3 weeks.
- As required, be prepared to support the move and setup/recovery of exercise equipment and furniture IAW approved room builds
- As required, be prepared to role play U.S. Army, joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and/or multinational individuals.
- As required, be prepared to operate mission command and simulation systems.

**What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team**:

- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
- Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of related experience; OR 10 years of related experience
- Support Battalion level or higher command assignment or S4/G4 assignment for Battalion of high-level command
- Graduate of CGSC or ILE (MEL 4) or equivalent military schooling
- 3 years of recent supervisory experience
- Knowledgeable in Army Warfighter functions
- Knowledgeable on US Army Doctrine
- Knowledgeable of Joint and NATO Doctrine
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
- Possess an outstanding work ethic and personal integrity.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess a high degree of attention to detail.
- Possess an outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

**What Sets You Apart**:

- Knowledge and experience with Army constructive models and simulations
- Experience controlling medium to large unit training events and operations for MTC or similar organizations.
- Experience executing Mission Command training at battalion level or higher.
- Familiarity with Army Mission Command Systems/Platforms.
- Knowledge of planning and executing large training events and how to use the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) to support customer training requirements.
- Knowledgeable of Joint and NATO Doctrine
- Knowledgeable in Observer Controller/Trainer functions
- Ability to write Battalion and higher Operations Orders IAW Army doctrine
- Experience operating Microsoft Office products.
- IT systems and network experience desired.
