- **Head of Finance & Controlling (f/m/d)** to work in our D/ON3 team.- E.ON One is a dynamic and innovative corporate venture that works at the forefront of supporting the energy transition by offering innovative and digital point solutions. We are still active in acquiring and nurturing startups in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. We are dedicated to empowering these startups and helping them thrive in a competitive market. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Head of Controlling and Finance. This position is pivotal in setting up the financial function for our new corporate venture and to serve as interface for all financial aspects of our acquired startups. You will lead and build a team of finance professionals to ensure that our financial operations are streamlined, efficient, and provide both support and challenge to the ecosystem to foster our joint growth. This role reports directly to the CFO.**Tasks**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for both our corporate venture and the portfolio of acquired startups, aligning financial goals with business objectives.
- Create detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights into financial performance and potential risks.
- Establish robust financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data to senior management, stakeholders, and investors.
- Implement risk management practices, to safeguard financial assets and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Play a critical role in the acquisition and integration process of startups, conducting financial due diligence, structuring deals, and optimizing financial synergies.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including investors, boards, and external partners, to maintain strong financial relationships and ensure alignment with the company's goals.
- Financial Technology: Evaluate and implement financial technology solutions and tools to streamline financial processes and enhance decision-making.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and controlling, with a track record of managing financial functions in a corporate or startup environment.
- Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
