The Head of Strategic Talent Management leads the development of holistic, organization-wide Talent strategies in alignment with the company's business priorities and in the context of global external trends. The position also translates these Talent strategies into meaningful, relevant and end-user focused solutions that deliver tangible impact to the business and ensures that these solutions are also aligned across the broad suite of HR solutions and enabled successfully across the organization.
The
**Head of Strategic Talent Management** reports into the Global Head of Talent, Development & Recruiting (Direct report of CHRO).
**Key Accountabilities**:
- The role includes responsibility/ownership for the following Solutions: Business-Critical Succession Planning & Placement, Global Strategic Talent Consulting & Planning, Corporate Conference, Targeted Leadership Programs
- Design, continuously improve and provide thought leadership on Global Talent Management Solutions
- Design holistic Talent Management Solutions which are driven by business requirements and consult People Board on potential solution adjustment based on market trends
- Own End-to-End Global HR solutions architecture and governance of Organizational and Employee Lifecycle solutions related to talent management
- Interpret Global Business Requirements, implement and enable
- Governance for the Group Business Critical Positions + all direct reports to the Board + role 6+ in collaboration with Sector Solution Partners
- Oversee succession plans for Business Critical Positions (BCPs)
- Design and oversee delivery of targeted leadership program key elements
- The strategic impact and the level of strategic thinking of this position is very high as a top-quality pipeline of Talents and a consistent approach & management of C-level positions has to be assured.
- The strategic alignment and successful collaboration with critical internal stakeholder groups in the matrix organization is a key success factor
- Leads a small team of senior experts directly with a focus on content and expertise and with a strategic, future-oriented attitude
- Key success factors are passion for the job, knowledge of Global Trends and the ability to connect the dots between the different stakeholders (Executive Board, Leadership HR, (HR) Business Sectors, External Providers)
**Key Requirements**:
- You bring broad and deep experience with establishing talent management at group level in a complex international organisation, ideally both from a conceptual and operational perspective (e.g. from a HR Director or Senior Business Partner role)
- You are able to lead the creation and international implementation of global frameworks and solutions in a transforming organisation with corresponding uncertainty and strike the right balance between structure and flexibility
- You enjoy to operate at both a strategic and operational level within a complex matrix organisation and manage diverse stakeholder relationships
- You quickly build credibility at C-level and act as a valued advisor and partner at eye level, both to executive management as well as your HR counterparts
- You know how to select the right external partners and establish and manage value adding partnerships
- You have comprehensive knowledge of talent management systems
- You are fluent in English, German is an advantage
