**About the Role**:
**How you will contribute**
- Economical national transport and deployment planning for planned local transportation
- Checking offers, negotiating and purchasing additional loading space for international and national transportation
- Planning and implementation of cross-branch goods movements from and to the end customer
- Personnel management, including instructions, staff appraisals, return interviews with transport, warehouse and scheduling staff
- Continuous adaptation of the network to new customer situations and volume fluctuations
- Management of clarification cases in local transport
- Notification of local transport goods, route optimization and cost control
- Quality control and monitoring of local transportation
- Control of freight document returns, PDA usage and scan documentation as well as adherence to delivery dates and creation of freight documents & route processing in the IT system
- Planning, control and coordination of dispatching incl. personnel responsibility for the vehicle fleet
**Your Key Qualifications**
- Completed vocational training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk
- At least three years of professional experience in the transportation sector
- Ability to work in a team, stress resistance, economic thinking, customer and service orientation, forward-looking thinking and action, assertiveness, flexibility
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- SAP, Word, Excel, experience with Microsoft Access databases
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware
- Willingness to work in shifts (early morning, day and night shifts)
