Here’s what you’ll be doing:

- Manage a team of 1, Assistant Accountant and collaborate with colleagues across the region and Internationally in Finance and other stakeholders.
- Oversee all accountant activities for DACH that include but not limited to Accounting, Risk Management, Reporting
- Oversee daily transactions for AR and AP activities in conjunction with the shared services team.
- Prepare monthly Management accounting packs for submission to EMEA and US.
- Prepare flux analysis to explain differences to the budget, PY, Qtr and Prior Month.
- Oversee necessary monthly/quarterly tax declarations in Germany and EMEA & oversee the timely preparation of other statutory declarations
- Manage the preparation of year-end close and reporting US-GAAP and German GAAP
- Manage and organize external audits held at the company
- Review and improve the Finance department processes and ensure compliance
- Project Experience, support the implementation of Netsuite (Oracle) ERP system

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/ACMA preferred
- 5 - 7 years experience
- Hands on mentality and work ethic.
- Effective communication skills and fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
- Experienced with Matrix Organizations and multinational companies
- ERP implementation experience is preferable
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high commitment, manage resources, and effectively meet critical deadlines; natural curiosity for problem solving
