As part of the Airfreight & Seafreight Product Management the Business Process Management is responsible for the global Airfreight & Seafreight processes of Hellmann. This includes the design and continuous improvement of business processes in terms of standardization, automation and digitalization. In addition to the design and continuous improvement of processes, our Business Process Management team is responsible for the implementation of business processes and ensuring its sustainability.
We are looking for a Process Owner Operational Accounting (M/F/d) for our team in Hamburg. The focus of your role will be the design and rollout of all operational accounting activities which are linked to the operations in Airfreight & Seafreight with a high focus on the Transport Management System. You will gain valuable working experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**» Key Responsibilities**:
- Process Owner for all Operational Accounting processes
- Work collaboratively with Airfreight & Seafreight business process owners and the finance team to define business needs and design new ways of working
- Analyse and define functional requirements before final handover to IT
- Work closely with the regional & local teams to implement business process improvements globally
- Act as a gatekeeper for our global operational standards

- Solid understanding of the global forwarding industry
- Strong self-confidence, decision making and problem solving skills
- Proven ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
- The ability to work in a project and team environment across different assignments and cultures
- Good knowledge of forwarding accounting principles and practices
- Understanding of CargoWise One Accounting and Billing functionalities
