**Job Purpose**

The role of People Business Partner is important to us.

This role is a key position in the function, reporting to the Head of People Europe, you will be responsible for delivering solutions across the full employee lifecycle. You will be a key member of the German team.

Previous experience of supporting managers across borders is not essential but may be helpful. Full induction and training will be provided.

We would love to welcome you to our office in Berlin. Working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

This role will require you to be based at our office 5 days per week. Flexibility to travel to our offices located across the UK and Europe will also be required where needed.

**Your responsibilities day to day will be**

Work proactively with partnering areas/businesses to enable delivery of business objectives through their people

Demonstrable success in developing effective working relationships with senior stakeholders at all levels

Confidently manage and deliver on multiple and often conflicting priorities across a number of legislative territories

Success in managing projects across the human resources spectrum such as absence management, performance management, probation periods, HR policies and employee engagement surveys

Work systematically through a high volume of employee relations matters with the support of your HR Administrator/Advisor with the expectation that you are able to navigate through complex ER Cases in a commercial environment independently

Demonstrate an active interest in people data and developing action plans with your stakeholders to address insights as they arise from the data

Have an ability to look ahead and plan your time to meet the needs of a growing and fast-paced business

- Ability to communicate effectively to build support for a course of action, idea, or business initiative
- Ability to develop a clear understanding of the business areas you support and the impact of internal/external factors on current and future service delivery
- Ability to promote team co-operation
- Have the desire to develop, grow and provide support, encouragement, and opportunity for others to develop
- Consistently acting in an accountable and conscientious manner particularly if a problem arises
- Ability and willingness to work effectively in a variety of situations and can adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrative drive and energy to achieve results and continuously improve performance
- Fluency in German & English is essential
