We are looking for a** Head of Process Engineering (M/F/d) **to join our headquarters in **Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of technicians and process engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment
- Manage all production activities for our hardware and consumable products in cooperation with our external suppliers, ensure and coordinate daily business
- Ownership of the design transfer process to introduce new products into serial production
- Maintenance of the operational workflows and standardized documentation in our ERP system (MS Dynamics)
- Drive constant process improvement and a philosophy of lean management
- Connect and cooperate with the Quality and Purchasing department as well as other interfaces to ensure seamless Operations

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Production engineering or equivalent education
- Experience as a Team Lead or proven interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
- Industry experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in one ERP system (ideally MS Dynamics)
- Problem solving mentality
- Good technical understanding
- Confident behavior with external suppliers
- Strong drive for hands-on work, process optimization and celebrating successes in a team with top performance
- Fluent in English and German for internal and external communication
