Thesis - Development of Operating Strategy for Hybrid Powertrain Components

We are an innovative company in the field of vehicle technology and are looking for motivated students to assist in the development of vehicle software functions for hybrid powertrain components. The aim is to develop function packages for the typical use cases of a hybrid vehicle for the control and regulation of e.g. power electronics of e-machines, HV battery, combustion engine or transmission.
The development work offers various interesting topics for final theses.
Your Tasks:
- You identify typical use cases together with the team in order to create the basis for further development.
- You support the collection of requirements that are necessary for the project.
- You create the specifications and implement them in Matlab Simulink according to the requirements collected.
- You will create software tests for the typical use cases developed.
- You carry out the software tests and refine the implementation so that the requirements collected are fulfilled.
Necessary Skills:
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of automotive engineering and electrical engineering
- Knowledge of Matlab-Simulink and Python
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office, Windows 10 or 11
- Knowledge of German and/or English (at least one of the two languages, at least C1)

- Team and communication skills
- Organizational skills and a structured way of working
- Commitment and proactivity
Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The internship/thesis is remunerated with a monthly salary of EUR 979.
