**The Team**:
**The Role**:
As a Product Development Professional Prototyping you will work closely with other R&D teams, like mechanical design, electro-acoustic, wireless experts, audiology, etc. but also teams in other functions like quality management or marketing. Some of them are distributed over multiple geographical locations, for instance Denmark and Singapore.

You will report to your local team lead in Erlangen.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

- Assembly of electronics by means of soldering, conformal coating, gluing, etc.
- Assembly of hearing aids and their housings by means of gluing, cutting/milling, sanding, polishing, painting and mechanical fixation or snap locks.
- Functional check of hearing aid subsystems and complete devices
- Material and equipment planning, trigger sourcing of needed material/components
- Support of special requests based on detailed assembly descriptions
- Collaboration with product development project teams to define and evaluate assembly concept and manufacturing processes

**Requirements**:
We expect you to master fine and precision manual work partly under a high quality stereo microscope. You are a team player, who seeks technical assembly solutions for given designs and provides feedback to the designers from manufacturing point of view. Attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are part of your strengths. Additionally, you are a strong communicator who engages in constructive and solution oriented discussions with your colleagues.

You most likely fit the following profile:

- Experience in assembly of fine electronics
- Proven handcraft skills for manual assembly of small plastic parts
- Completed high school education
- Completed training in precision mechanics like e.g. dental technology, watchmaking, smartphone repair and the like
