We are searching for a Director Operations (m/w/d) for leading the Project Management Office for our global Operations Network. You will be working directly for our CTO and be responsible for the implementation, organization and management of a state-of-the-art Project Management Office with focus on Operations. What will you be doing:
- Establish a state-of-the-art Project Management Office for our Global Operations Network and implement project management standards- Optimize constantly the Project Management Office setup and investigate and execute identified opportunities- Take over responsibility for the identification and optimization of business potential across all divisions with short and medium-term as well as strategic orientation- Identify, set up and lead strategic projects in the area of operations and support overarching initiatives in Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement, SCM or Quality- Be a sparring partner for the Senior Management team to discuss problems and structure solutions- Conduct market, competitor, productivity, and feasibility analyses for decision-making purposes- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, presentations and meetings, and discuss solutions on board level
What will you need:
- Master’s degree in industrial engineering and Business Administration or comparable- At least 3 years of consulting experience- At least a total of 7 years professional experience, preferably in the automotive or sanitary industries- Experience in setting up and leading international Project Teams and Steering Committees- Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art PMO processes and systems, preferably certifications in agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM)- Track record in developing processes and driving projects in Operations; e.g. Manufacturing Strategy, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D and Quality- Sound Experience in Digitalization and Lean Production- Business Acumen, being number driven and experience in working on Board Level- Excellent analytical skills- Structured, proactive and persistent working style with hands-on mentality- Very good communication skills- Very good MS Office Skills (esp. Excel, Power Point)- Very good Analytics/data visualization skills e.g. Tableau/ PowerBI- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
