Freelance English Online Learning Content Creator (English)

With Babbel, anyone can learn a language.

Whether on the go, in the subway, or at home on the sofa, Babbel supports those who take joy in learning outside of work or school. Since its founding in 2007, the company has grown to become the market leader in app-based language learning. In total, Babbel offers 15 learning languages, from French to Indonesian. Professional courses are available via the Babbel website as well as for smartphones and tablets. At Babbel, more than 600 team members from over 50 different countries work hard to set standards for creating a new learning experience. Unique to Babbel, our team of language experts builds individual courses for each language pair.

Improving the way people learn languages is a great challenge — we’re looking for a Freelance English Online Learning Content Creator to develop exciting business teaching material for our live tutoring lessons. This is a remote freelance position to start asap.

**You will**:

- Ideate, script, proofread, and edit online teaching content for English
- Optimise and improve our learning content based on teacher feedback
- Create industry specific content based on customer needs
- Image research to illustrate the learning content
- Collaborate effectively together with other editors and content creators

**You have**:

- English language skills on a native level
- A university degree in English Teaching, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Experience in creating and editing online teaching material
- Expertise in the field of language learning and familiarity with the digital self-study market
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- A reliable and independent way of working
- A passion for languages and cultures
- Knowledge of other languages is a big plus
- A tax number for freelance work (not necessarily issued by the German authorities)
