The Business Area (BA) Customer & Solutions (C&S) is focussing on the energy solutions and services for both private and business customers. Vattenfall is looking to grow its commodity business in Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, and Sweden, as well as improve heating, cooling, and power generation network efficiency. Vattenfall seeks to dominate the market with decentralised options such as solar panels, heat pumps, and batteries, and become a top electric vehicle charging provider in Northwestern Europe. Expansion plans also include establishing significant customer bases in Denmark, France, and the United Kingdom.

The Business Control department is in charge of for supporting the BA C&S, with suitable steering models, business analyses and financial management information, in close cooperation with the management team of the BA and controlling departments of the business units. To drive, co-ordinate and execute the financial processes, a strong cooperation with the operational departments and staff functions (like Group Finance, HR, Asset Management, Business Development and Procurement) is necessary. **Your job as Business Controller BA C&S**

As Business Controller BA C&S you will be in charge of to develop and support BA C&S in relation to all finance and controlling related matters by acting as a financial business partner. Next to driving regular reporting and forecasting as well as business planning, you secure a good consolidation of different business unit related information. Being strong in cooperation between business and staff functions, you contribute to a dynamic and diversified working environment.

Your main responsibilities
- Provide departments and managers within the BA with relevant reliable financial information, business analysis and proactively support and challenge your colleagues to reach business objectives;
- Steer the business planning process including target setting, follow-up through reporting with a focus on the gaps between realisation and targets, forecasting and corrective measures to meet plan;
- Secure well consolidated financial information on BA level, consider the underlying drivers of the different business and provide high quality on BA level;
- Support the controlling team in analysing business performance, identifying improvement opportunities and corrective actions,, and driving performance;
- Drive and support digitalization initiatives as well as further development of finance processes and products;
- Participate in the monthly management reporting process.

**Location**

Preferably Amsterdam, Stockholm, London, Berlin, Hamburg, hybrid working is also possible.

**Ihr Profil**:** Your profile**
- Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (or equal);
- Knowledge and experience with consolidation software (Cognos, other) and SAP;
- Experience in driving and coordinating improvements of controlling processes;
- Experience and interest in digitalization, PowerBI or other similar tools;
- A strong command of English, both verbally and written.
