We offer different positions for student assistants or internships at our division IIS/EAS Dresden. With respect to your background knowledge and expertise you will support the team for instance in the following areas:
- Data analytics, e.g. for time series of sensors
- Implementation and testing of machine learning methods
- Multiphysical simulations
- Set up of test scenarios for communicating and collaborative robots
- Realisation and testing of intelligent sensors and edge AI systems
- Literature surveys and desk research regarding current trends in AI
**What you bring to the table**
- Are a student of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or similar
- Have good knowledge in common tools like Python or MATLAB, experience in fields like system modeling, robotics, energy systems, sensors and embedded systems is an asset, but not a must.
- Are good in writing and communication
- Have good English skills, German skills are appreciated
