**Your Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Project Lead to join our Digital, Data and IT (DDIT) team for R&D Healthcare. This role requires a strong background in IT program/project management, team leadership, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory environment within the Healthcare industry.
In the role of the Principal Project Lead, you will act as the IT lead for at least one large IT transformation initiative and manage a team of IT project leads and business analysts. You will take full life cycle responsibility for IT solutions in your scope with a focus on R&D Global Development Operations and R&D Strategy & Portfolio Management.
Your work will include developing and maintaining program and project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to all relevant quality and compliance standards, and overseeing risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying, and addressing potential obstacles to project success.
You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D units, vendor organizations, and internal delivery units, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
**Who You Are**:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 10 years of experience in project leadership, particularly within clinical operations and IT solutions development.
- At least 5 years of experience in people leadership and talent development
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GXP and other relevant guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of industry data standards
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive decision-making
