**Your Role**:
Join our dynamic international R&D and business environment, where you will play a pivotal role in the growth of our innovative materials for protein
- and nucleic acid-based treatments. As a key contributor, you will lead cross-functional project teams dedicated to enzyme process development and the transfer of processes to GMP manufacturing. Your expertise will drive the development of our enzyme production systems at the lab scale, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements. You will identify and evaluate microbial hosts for recombinant enzyme production, designing fermentation processes that optimize media and seed train development. Your responsibility will also include exploring downstream process operations for enzyme purification, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. In this role, you will oversee the tech transfer to GMP manufacturing sites and train lab technicians, fostering their growth and development. You will scout for key technological developments and intellectual property opportunities, keeping our projects innovative and competitive. As Project Leader for Biological Safety, you will ensure compliance with safety protocols while maintaining the integrity of our biological research. Your collaborative spirit will help you establish strong working relationships across various functions, enhancing our collective success.

**Who You Are**:

- You hold a PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- You possess several years of experience in enzyme production across diverse microbial hosts.
- You have deep technical knowledge of recombinant enzyme expression and strategies for improvement.
- You are a strong team player with a results-focused and problem-solving mindset.
- Your organizational skills enable you to manage multiple projects effectively.
- You excel in verbal and written communication, particularly in English, with proficiency in German being a plus.
- You demonstrate a commitment to compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- You are eager to engage in collaborative interactions and transparent communication with colleagues and external partners.
