As the Commercial DBS Leader, you will identify and implement continuous improvement activities to drive growth and improve productivity, customer experience, and performance within the European commercial teams. This role will provide training and implementation of DBS (Danaher Business System), execute Kaizen improvement events, build best-in-class sales and marketing processes, and improve DBS capability at all levels of the commercial organization. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Own and drive Danaher Business System (continuous improvement) rigor throughout the Commercial organization:_ - Build and maintain the DBS / Kaizen Funnel to achieve 2x kaizens per people leader in the organization, prioritized to drive impact on critical KPIs - Coach stakeholders through the kaizen process from kaizen identification, charter development, kaizen execution, and sustainment - Personally lead and/or facilitate kaizen events every 6-weeks while modeling ‘Best Team Wins’ coaching and facilitation behaviors - Hold stakeholders accountable for sustainment of improvement results from DBS / Kaizen events at a rate >80% - Act as a knowledgeable business partner to the commercial leadership team and drive measurable improvement in critical KPIs:_ - Analyze data and processes to improve KPIs, e.g. Core Growth, Margin, and Price Capture - Assist in the development of action plans to drive measurable improvement in KPIs; track progress via daily management and deploy problem-solving where required - Lead and/or provide recommendations for the identification and selection of improvement projects, including insights to support strategic planning and policy deployment - Responsible for the daily implementation of DBS processes and tools including daily management, action plans, growth rooms, and problem-solving - Participate in appropriate KPI and leadership forums and provide effective coaching to achieve annual targets - Improve DBS capability and tool expertise in Commercial organization through coaching, facilitation, and personal development:_ - Build personal DBS and continuous improvement capability through focused tool training, boot camps and training - Train associates and leaders in various DBS tools, including Fundamentals and Growth tools - Communicate and drive “Best Practices” across the business and facilitate Danaher leadership benchmarking sessions. - Work with the Global Hach DBS team and Corporate DBSO (Danaher Business System Office) to schedule events and supply needed resources / expertise - Influence change management at different levels within the organization. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or technical field required (Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Technical related field). - Years of Experience: 5 or more years in growth and/or commercial leadership roles. - Leadership to set and attain goals and initiate actions to resolve problems and improve processes. - Demonstrated problem-solving ability and skilled at statistical analysis. - Demonstrated ability to take initiative, tackle problems, and sustain results. - Proven digital skills (data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, statistical tools). - Strong ability to provide concise executive summaries of business performance issues, changes needed or made, results delivered. - Ability to coach and collaborate with individuals across all levels of the organization and training others. - Strong capability to drive impact through influence and indirect leadership. **Travel: Up to 50%** When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
