About this role
Business Unit Overview and iSW Germany
The iShares & Wealth sales team develops and maintains relationships and drives flows with fund investors in Eastern Europe, Germany and Austria (EEGA).
The Digital Distribution Team is responsible for developing business with the Personal Investor and online D2C business. That includes the distribution of iShares ETFs and index funds, BlackRock active funds as well as services and solutions to online banks & brokers, multi-channel-banks, digital advisors (RoBo advisors), fintechs and platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and develop deep relationships with our digital distribution segment with the goal to drive buy list penetration and flows in ETFs, active mutual funds and liquid/illiquid alternatives
- Execute product campaigns via product education sessions, sales and marketing campaigns
- Participation in and organization of client events, presentations, educational sessions as speaker and further development of such formats
- Have a passion for understanding retail investor’s needs, behaviors and how that’s influencing the investment industry
- Opportunity to work client facing and help securing client partnerships
- Client support with regards to regulatory as well as segment specific processes, products and services
- Offer additional services to clients like technology, our capital market views, support when it comes to portfolio construction or help clients within their business model transformation
- Further development of scaled distribution approaches, i.e. creation of relevant content, presentations, webinars, podcasts etc.
- Be in line with all regulatory & legal requirements
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
Knowledge/Experience
- 2-3 years experiences in a financial services sales’ role in the relevant segments.
- Deep understanding of the local self-directed investment market and various digital platform business models (e.g. online brokers, traditional banks, fintechs, robo-advisors).
- Strong knowledge of the sales process, closing and long-term relationship management.
- Familiar with product set, especially ETFs, active fund products and competitive landscape
Skills/Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or an equal professional experience
- Client and sales oriented, very high-quality standards
- German mother tongue; Fluent spoken and written English
- Good know-how in MS-Office tools

Our hybrid work model
