**Your tasks**:
- Responsible for several main material groups and global commodity teams with members from all affected locations
- Coordination with local material group managers and other functions
- Development and management of material group strategies and action plans
- Development of supplier strategies to ensure cost, quality and performance targets are met
- Day-to-day work to improve supplier performance, quality and reduce costs
- Clear communication of the material group strategy to local teams
- Realization of savings targets and implementation of strategies at all locations
**Your profile**:
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable qualifications
- Several years of experience as a Lead Buyer or head of cross-functional teams in an industrial environment, preferably in the transformer industry.
- Exceptional skills in the areas of analytics, project and process management, self-organization, structuring and prioritization,
- assertiveness combined with the ability to work in a team, communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
