**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Work with Process Development and other teams to develop and transfer next generation cell manufacturing processes to internal and external GMP facilities
- Aseptic production of cell-based products in clean rooms in compliance with manufacturing instructions and according to relevant hygiene and GMP regulations
- Perform cell selection, cell culture, viral and non-viral gene transfer, and cryopreservation
- Support in evaluation and implementation of process optimization and provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance as needed during a deviation in the process
- Monitoring and qualification of clean room and equipment
- Support warehouse management and coordinate supply inventory
- May train peers and other manufacturing employees in manufacturing process
- Authoring and execution of SOPs and batch records
- Documentation and analysis of data

**Required qualifications**:

- Educated as BTA / PTA / MTA / CTA or BSc in Biology, biotechnology, bioengineering or medical technology related field with a minimum of three years’ experience in aseptic manufacturing of human cell products.
- Strong knowledge of sterile cell culture lab techniques such as cell passaging, cryopreservation, and formulation of media is mandatory
- Cell therapy manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred
- Experience with common cell processing devices such as CliniMACS, closed system cell washer, bioreactors and controlled-rate freezers is a plus
- Experience with working in a clean room with full aseptic gowning is beneficial
- High understanding of quality and responsibility
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Fluent in German and good English skills are required (oral and written)
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Experience in flow cytometry and immunological in vitro assays such as ELISA and ELISpot
- Willingness to learn new analytical methodologies
