**Your responsibilities**:
- You will lead early development projects of our key technologies
- This includes leading a cross-functional project team, taking responsibility for the project and ensuring that project plans are met
- You will coordinate with internal interfaces and regularly communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders
- Working in cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for the entire early development process from customer requirements to proof-of-concept studies of new system technologies
- You will be responsible for the independent planning, execution and evaluation of experiments in the laboratory
- You will question existing assumptions, identify optimization needs from a technical and economic point of view and implement these optimizations independently
- Furthermore, you are responsible for the technical management of employees in the laboratory as well as for the training and guidance of new employees
**Your profile**:
- You have a degree in natural sciences or engineering with a PhD in the field of life sciences or biostatistics, with a good technical understanding
- You have in-depth knowledge and ideally practical experience in one or several disciplines associated with the central lab, for example with immunoassays or clinical chemistry, mass spectrometry, coagulation, hematology or urine analysis
- You have a high level of professional and personal flexibility, you are creative and you work well under pressure
- Being a good communicator, you maintain and drive professional exchange across departments and build networks
- Your confidence and diplomatic skills allow you to represent your view across hierarchical levels
- You want to push technical ideas and projects independently forward
- You can motivate people and convince them of your ideas
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential - German skills are not necessarily required
