**What you will do**:

- You are independently responsible for the balance sheet accounting and reporting of several companies
- You prepare the monthly and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB)
- You monitor and analyze the accrual and deferral accounts
- You clarify and reconcile intercompany positions
- You are responsible for the preparation and submission of the monthly reporting procedures, such as USt-VA
- You carry out cross-departmental additional projects in the areas of process optimization/digitalization and implementation of new accounting concepts
- You support the preparation of business evaluations
- You support the onboarding of new colleagues
- You work together with internal and external auditors, tax consultants and accounting firms

**Who you are**:

- You already have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of accounting and are confident in closing HGB accounts
- You have successfully completed a degree or commercial training, ideally with further training as a certified accountant
- You have comprehensive accounting knowledge according to German GAAP (HGB)
- You have experience with debtors, creditors and assets
- You like to work independently, in a structured and careful manner and bring a high degree of motivation and initiative with you
- You are interested in and enjoy actively helping to shape existing processes.
- You have a very good command of German and English
