Your area of responsibility:
As an Accountant (M/F/d) for ASEA in Germany, you will work closely with the finance department at ASEA's global corporate headquarters in the US. Your responsibilities will include managing the German finance department in terms of planning, accounting, reporting, compliance and audits.
Your tasks
- Accounting for the German market
- Accounts payable
- Account reconciliation to prepare the balance sheet
- Support for statutory reporting
- Knowledge and experience in payroll accounting (LODAS) required
- Travel expense reports
- Support with audit requests and report preparation
- Assisting with tax compliance and reporting.
- Work closely with the U.S. finance team on European financial matters
Your Profile:
- A successfully completed commercial education with a focus on German accounting.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience and are able to prepare financial statements according to HGB
- International experience preferred
- Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- You are open to working in an international environment and would like to grow by taking on international tasks
- Independent, proactive way of working with a high degree of initiative
- Confident handling of MS-Office programs and DATEV are a must
