Senior Content Strategist and Editor

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist & Editor (14-month maternity cover) to lead our German-language content efforts at Pipedrive. Based in Berlin and reporting to the Head of SEO, you’ll own content creation, localization and strategy across key channels - working closely with SEO, product marketing, PR and design.

From managing freelancers to driving content performance, you’ll ensure our German voice is consistent, engaging, and aligned with business goals. If you’re a sharp editor with a strategic mindset and love working cross-functionally, we’d love to meet you

**Your new adventure**:

- Create, review and edit original and translated German content for Pipedrive’s website, blog, social media and offsite marketing materials
- Source, manage and quality-check freelance writers producing original and localized German-language content
- Ensure consistency in style, tone and terminology across all German-language content channels
- Help shape strategy through quarterly roadmaps, competitor analyses and performance reporting for leadership
- Partner with the SEO manager to identify keyword opportunities and plan German-language SEO content delivery
- Identify new distribution channels and markets for German-language content and support localization initiatives as needed
- Oversee off-page and whitepaper content projects, coordinating with PR teams in key markets
- Conduct surveys and support data analysis for both internal performance tracking and external-facing content

- Fluent German and English skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and linguistic nuance
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a methodical approach
- Proven ability to juggle multiple diverse tasks while collaborating across teams
- Skilled at managing content platforms and developing market-specific strategies
- Self-motivated and reliable in setting schedules, meeting deadlines and managing stakeholders
- Confident using content creation tools and video conferencing platforms effectively
- Experience crafting and curating SEO-driven content tailored to German-speaking audiences
- Solid understanding of SEO, user experience and content best practices for web
- Familiarity with tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Google Search Console (GSC)
- Capable of leading projects, delegating tasks and managing budgets efficiently
- Comfortable navigating CMS and CRM platforms, with a quick grasp of new tools
- Sharp editorial instinct for stories that resonate across PR and social channels
- Knowledge of local data protection laws and market-specific compliance regulations
