The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for developing DACH Markets in software for Additive Manufacturing. The BDM will be in charge of contributing and executing the sales strategy in the DACH region, from lead generation to key account management.
Together with a great international team the BDM will contribute to the overall roadmap of the company and grow their knowledge in software sales and additive manufacturing.

Contract information

Tasks
Your main responsibilities
- Define the business development strategy for your verticals (mobility, energy and defense)
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
- Follow up on leads shared by the inside sales team, build your own deal funnel in targeted markets, pursue leads, and sign deals
- Collaborate with customer success and development teams to ensure requirements are being met
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify upsell opportunities
- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning to do consultative sales
- Follow the latest industry developments and trends
**Requirements**:
What you should bring
- Native German speaker and fluent in English
- Customer-centric mindset and curiosity to deeply understand customer pains and gains
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational sensitivity to manage and influence multiple stakeholders
- Enhanced multi-tasking abilities
- B2B consultative software sales experience with Fortune 1000 companies
- Marketing and strategic analysis skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills and hungry to close deals
- Experience in researching market trends
- Work with strategic partners to scale our business with a joint go to market
- High abstraction capacities: complex process design
- AM knowledge is a big plus
