**Your main tasks**:
- You will develop assays to determine enzyme activities.
- As part of the team, you will be responsible for the experimental execution of various analytical methods, such as the photometrical determination of enzyme activities, DNA and protein gel electrophoresis.
- You will carry out microbiological, biochemical and genetic engineering work with the aim of optimizing enzyme expression in microorganisms.
- You will perform experiments for the development and optimization of enzymatic and fermentative production processes including downstream recovery on a small scale.
- You develop detection methods for the quantification of microorganisms and organic substances.
**Your profile**:
- Education: completed training as a laboratory technician, technical assistant (M/F/d) or a degree in the field of life sciences (bachelor's, master's or diploma)
- Experience: ideally, you already have some experience in one of the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
- Way of working: solution-oriented, committed und conscientious
- Personality: motivated, curious, teamplayer
- Languages: good written and spoken German and English skills
