(Berlin/Germany, Full-time) We are looking for a **Director Engineering (f/m/d) **who is looking for an exciting opportunity. We are seeking somebody to become a valued technical leader in an autonomous agile product engineering department within the technology function at Clariness. **Your Responsibilities**: - Shape the technical vision for our ClinLife platforms with the team including high-impact architectural decisions. - Lead and support different engineering teams that comprise the building blocks of our ClinLife platforms, including integrations with a "DevSecOps" mindset. - Work with product management crafting a product strategy representing as the voice of the engineering to ensure the teams deliver value in a continuous and lean way. - Discover & validate new opportunities to constantly update our technology stack. - Maintain senior stakeholder relationships across the company to ensure our customer needs are surfaced and prioritized. - Enable learning and knowledge sharing across the organization, leveling up our engineering practices and mentoring technical leads. **Your profile**: - Proven experience leading managers and senior leaders driving significant impact across engineering landscape. - Strong understanding of system design and into full stack development technologies. - Experience mentoring and supporting peers and engineering teams, fostering quality engineering practices. - Deep understanding of how to translate product and business goals into technology strategies as well as outstanding communication and presentation skills. - Ability to quickly adapt your communication style to groups with heterogenous technical backgrounds. - Passion for full stack web-based product development and a natural affinity towards data-driven product design. - First experience with Cloud Infrastructure - AWS, GCP or Azure - Hands - on mentality when it comes to handling architectures on JavaScript Frameworks - preferably React and Node ***What we offer**: - A varied and exciting job with a lot of personal responsibility in an international company, where you can develop and expand your skills. - A secure workplace with many possibilities and room for your ideas. - A versatile field of activity and challenging projects. - Professional and personal development opportunities. - Competitive salary and benefits. - Flexible working hours and mobile working (home office). - Make an impact in healthcare - The speed of bringing needed medical innovation to market still depends on the duration of _clinical_ trials.
