Director of Quality Control and Management

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Control and Management Director to lead our quality assurance initiatives within the tank trailer manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, while also driving continuous improvement across all production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Management System (QMS)**: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS in alignment with ISO 9001, ATP, ADR standards and other EU industry-specific regulations.
- **Leadership**: Oversee and mentor the quality assurance team, including quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify areas for process enhancements, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate quality issues.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, including ATP certification requirements, and liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary.
- **Supplier Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to assess and monitor supplier quality, conducting audits and implementing improvement plans as needed.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Address customer complaints related to quality, conduct thorough investigations, and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- **Training and Development**: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the quality competencies of staff across the organization.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive records of quality metrics, inspection results, and compliance reports, ensuring transparency and traceability.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CQE, CMQ/OE) are advantageous.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in quality management roles within the tank trailer manufacturing industry.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, and SPC. Familiarity with welding standards and non-destructive testing methods is a plus.
- **Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- **Certifications**: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and experience with ATP certification processes are preferred.

**Working Conditions**:
This role involves a blend of office-based responsibilities and on-site presence in manufacturing facilities. International travel—approximately 30% to 50%—may be required to visit production sites in China, as well as partners and regulatory authorities across EMEA region
